The second attempt at M7, this time using the RC6
A second imaging attempt at Omega Centauri
Well, I am a bit peeved. The weather forecast for Jakarta was for mostly clear skies and this afternoon there were large patches of blue, so I set up the scope. Of course I was being overly optimistic 🙁 . Clouds, clouds and more clouds !!!
I did get one stretch where I could fire of some subs and this is the result.
The Triffid nebula (NGC 6514) in Sagittarius imaged on 30th May 2015
Ptolemy’s Cluster (NGC6475), located in Scorpius.
Located at a distance of 15,800 ly in the constellation of Centaurus, Omega Centauri is the largest globular cluster in the Milky way galaxy with a diameter of approximately 150 ly and is estimated to contain 10 million stars with a total mass equivalent to 4 million solar masses.
My first attempts at imaging the M42 nebula during a visit to a client minesite on Halmahera Island, as well as a comparison from downloaded data.
